David Cummings
A graduate of Trinity Hall, Cambridge University and London Business School, David has worked for IMI Plc, Lazard and KPMG. From 1986-2002, David worked at Lazard, the leading independent investment bank, where he was a Partner and Managing Director in the Telecom, Media and Technology group. While there he gained a wide variety of experience in M&A, debt restructuring and equity capital markets based on over a decade of transactions in the Telecom and Technology sectors. David also has a wide ranging personal network with emerging technology companies. He acted as a conduit for technology venture deal flow in UK and supported the establishment of Lazard Technology Partners’ arm in London, where he was a member of the Investment Committee. Currently David is an active angel investor in emerging technology companies, a Senior Director of KPMG Corporate Finance and since 2006 a consultant with Trinamo. David is also an Advisory Board member of Amadeus Capital.
Nicky Dee
A graduate of Robinson College, Cambridge University, and recently submitted her PhD on ‘Technology Management by Sustainable Energy Ventures’. In addition to work with sustainable energy ventures and experts throughout the PhD, she was Project Manager between 2003-6 on two European Commission funded projects aimed at supporting and growing high tech ventures. 2003-4 saw her successfully design and implement a new business creation competition at Cambridge University. She has worked both formally and informally with cleantech ventures, advising on market strategy, accessing clients, raising finance, and business planning. Nicky has three Cambridge blues for playing squash. Joined Trinamo in January 2008.
James Kelley
A graduate of Sheffield University ( BA Hons German Hispanic Studies) James started his career in business development with Optima Partners where he was responsible for generating C-Level leads for a variety of accounts. Rising to Regional Director of Northern Europe, James managed demand generation programmes developing new business opportunities. Joined Trinamo in January 2008.
Frankie Lathbury
Frankie is a Brunel undergraduate reading Product Design. She comes with a strong background in graphic design and marketing, and is responsible for the Trinamo Consulting website, our marketing collateral and desktop publishing. She is also a keen rugby player, playing for Saracens RFC and trialling for inclusion in the national squad.
John Messer
A graduate of Jesus College, University of Cambridge having read Biological Anthropology. Dissertation focused on how MHC immunity genes affect human mate choice. John first joined Trinamo as a summer intern student in 2006 working on a number of client engagements. After graduating in 2007 John spent three months travelling in Latin America. Joined Trinamo in January 2008.
Dawn Scrivin-Wood
Spent two years at Richmond College, Twickenham studying Business Studies and has extensive experience as a PA and over five years experience working in the technology sector. Joined Trinamo in June 2005.
Victoria Starr
A versatile COO, MBA and Chartered Engineer, Victoria combines operations, marketing, and sales expertise with a track record for defining and implementing ideas to deliver top line growth whilst minimising costs. Victoria started her career in 1989 sponsored by Thorn EMI Electronics. After working as a Project Manager, Victoria joined Accenture in 1994 and led a number of Service and Network Management projects. In 1998 she joined Micromuse, becoming VP Technical Services, VP Strategic Business Solutions and specializing in business case creation and high value solution sales. On completing her MBA in 2006 she worked as an Interim Manager for Caterham Cars before joining Trinamo at the start of 2007.
Simon Stevens
A career sales manager. Simon has over 20 years experience in sales and technical management and has worked for Cap Group, Cullinet Software, Computer Associates and IMI Computing. From 1992 – 2001 he sold Application Development and Systems Management Solutions at Amdahl Software, was their leading global sales professional, and managed all sales across Northern Europe. From 2001 - 2005 he became Regional Director for Northern Europe at Plumtree Software. Success led to an expansion of territory to include Eastern Europe and the Middle East and during his tenure sales were grown ninefold. Simon is a graduate (First Class Honours) in Chemistry. Joined Trinamo in March 2006.
Mark Watson
A graduate (First Class Honours) of Nottingham University, Mark has worked for Siemens, Logica, and Midland Montagu. From 1992 to 1998 he sold business applications at Oracle, and managed Telecom solution sales across Europe. From 1998 to 2001 he was VP EMEA Sales for Micromuse, growing sales from £3m to £40m. He was SVP for Axiom Systems where he turned a consultancy company into a product company and did the £0m to £6m curve. More recently as Director of Global Sales and Operations at Sage’s Enterprise division, he turned sales around within 6 months. Joined Trinamo in January 2005.
